Everton have said they "stand together" with Liverpool as they urged anyone with information about the incident that overshadowed the Reds' Premier League title victory parade to contact the police. The Blues have released a statement expressing their support for those affected after forty-seven people were injured when a car drove into a crowd on Water Street that had gathered to celebrate Liverpool's record-equalling 20th championship.

Of the 27 who were taken to hospital, two people, including one child, have suffered serious injuries. Liverpool City Region Mayor Steve Rotheram said on Tuesday that four people remained "very, very ill" in hospital.
