The first of two summer transfer windows will open at the end of this week.
Because of FIFA's Club World Cup taking place in June, a secondary transfer window is opening to allow clubs the opportunity sign players before the tournament begins.
That means clubs can complete deals between June 1 and June 10, before it opens fully again on June 16 until September 1 as usual.
The Premier League season may have only just reached its conclusion, but there are a plethora of transfer rumours already swirling around.
Liverpool look set to bolster their squad with the signing of Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen while Manchester United have already agreed a deal to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves.
Arsenal will definitely be in the market for a striker, having struggled in 2024/25 after lengthy injuries to Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.
There is also talk of a new goalkeeper being signed, as back-up to David Raya, and defensive and midfield reinforcements. Not to mention the players who could leave this summer.
Here football.london takes a look at three deals Arsenal could complete this week.
Martin Zubimendi
The first player through the door at the Emirates Stadium should be Martin Zubimendi. The Spaniard has been on the club's radar for some time and football.london understands Arsenal have been confident of sealing a deal for some time.
A fee needs to be agreed with Real Sociedad, but the midfielder has a £50.8million release clause and it will come down to how the Gunners pay that, whether it be up front or in instalments.
Zubimendi's arrival will make up for the loss of Jorginho and Thomas Partey, who are likely to leave as their contracts expire at the end of June.
Viktor Gyokeres
This would be the big one for the summer and if they can get it completed early that would hand Mikel Arteta a huge boost heading into pre-season for the 2025/26 campaign.
The striker has fixtures for Sweden to play next week on Friday, June 6 and Tuesday, June 10. Now might be the perfect time to get a deal done.
There is about a week before he heads off on international duty and then, after the Sweden schedule, the striker is likely to head off on holiday after a gruelling season.
If Arsenal can get a £60million deal over the line in the next week, it would be ideal.
Oleksandr Zinchenko
The Ukrainian has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal, seeing Riccardo Calafiori arrive last summer and Myles Lewis-Skelly emerge ahead of him at left-back.
Arsenal are understood to be happy to let the 28-year-old leave this summer, to secure much-needed funds for a summer transfer spend.
Zinchenko has been targeted by Borussia Dortmund and he could be one to leave to generate cash early on in the transfer window.
