Manchester United's squad know that Ruben Amorim is out of his depth at Old Trafford, presenter Richard Keys has claimed.
United were recently defeated in the Europa League final by Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham Hotspur, summing up a disastrous season for the Manchester club. The Red Devils finished in 15th place in the Premier League table this season, a monstrous 24 points off the Champions League places.
A victory in the final of the Europa League would have granted them qualification to next season's Champions League, but United now won't be competing in Europe at all. Although Amorim only took over during the middle of the campaign, there's no doubt we've seen minimal, if any, improvement from United.
Richard Keys: Amorim Out of His Depth at Man Utd
The players know it too

Writing in his blog, former Sky Sports presenter Keys has suggested that Amorim is out of his depth at United. Keys also adds that he believes the United players believe it too, slamming his decision to apologise publicly to the squad after a disappointing season...
"As for Amorim and his promise that good times are around the corner. If they are he’s not the man to deliver them. What was that about in his address to the stadium? ‘I want to say sorry to my players…’. What? No. Never ever go public with a statement like that. I’m afraid he strikes me as a man full of self doubt, totally out of his depth. His players know it. Perhaps that’s why he apologised to them - hoping to win a few back?"

It's not the first report to claim that the United squad might have doubts over the capabilities of Amorim. According to Daily Mail journalist Chris Wheeler, some of the United players are unhappy with Amorim and believes he is too over-confident in his current approach.
There doesn't appear to be any immediate threat over Amorim's future at the moment, but there's no doubt he will need to drastically turn things around at the start of next season.
