Police are likely to provide an update on their investigation and the status of the 27 people, including two children, who were injured and taken to hospital.
They may also discuss further the identity of the driver, after a suspect was arrested at the scene.
Questions have been raised over how the driver was able to access Water Street. Charlotte Hennessy, whose dad James died in the 1989 Hillsborough disaster, has already raised concerns regarding the traffic build-up in the area.
Liverpool Echo have reported that police are investigating the theory that the driver may have tailgated off the back of an ambulance that was moving through the crowd.
