'We're here to win it' - Chelsea CB Tosin makes big promise ahead of Conference League final

Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has issued a confident message ahead of the club’s UEFA Conference League final against Real Betis, declaring the Blues are fully focused and determined to bring home the trophy.

With the final set to take place tomorrow evening in Wroclaw, Poland, Adarabioyo emphasized the importance of the match and the historic opportunity it represents for the club.

“It’s a huge game; a European Cup final. We have a huge chance to create special history here at Chelsea,” said the 27-year-old centre-back to [Chelsea's official website](https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/article/tosin-we-have-a-huge-chance-to-create-special-history).

For Chelsea, winning the Conference League would add a fourth distinct major European trophy to their collection — a feat no other club has yet achieved.

Adarabioyo highlighted the significance of this achievement for the club.

"It’s very important for the club to be able to be the first club to win all the European competitions.

"And from the start of this competition, we’ve taken it very seriously and we’re here in the final now, so we’re here to win it."

The defender’s remarks reflect the ambition and determination within the Chelsea squad as they prepare to face the La Liga side.

Adarabioyo, who has played a crucial role throughout the Conference League campaign, pointed to the team’s progress and the chance to cap the season with silverware.

"I think you can see that we’re at the start of our journey, so to end the season with a piece of silverware would be amazing,” he stressed.

"We go in there with full confidence that we can get the result done. We’ve had a few games now, so we just have our main focus to win the competition."

Chelsea’s quest for European glory this season has been marked by resilience and strong defensive performances, with Adarabioyo’s leadership at the back standing out.

The club’s existing European trophy cabinet includes Champions League, Europa League, and Cup Winners’ Cup titles, but capturing the Conference League would be a historic milestone.
