Among those rushed to the hospital, two, including a child, are dealing with severe injuries. The Liverpool star expressed his solidarity through an Instagram story post, sharing an image of the iconic Liver Building bathed in red flare smoke from the celebrations.
His message read: "My thoughts are with the whole city, especially all affected by yesterday's devastating events.
"Hopefully those who were injured will make a full recovery. And the city will continue to pull together as it always does."
Alexander-Arnold concluded his heartfelt note with a love heart emoji, symbolising his affection and support for the community during this difficult time.
