Manchester United watching Europa Conference League final with interest–Up to€365,000 coming their way

Manchester United will earn €365,000 if Real Betis beat Chelsea in the Europa Conference League final.

That’s [according to ABC Sevilla](https://www.abc.es/deportes/alfinaldelapalmera/noticias-betis/bonus-betis-pagarle-united-antony-gana-conference-20250527101225-nts.html), who report that Manchester United will be due to receive a series of bonuses from the Spanish side if they are successful in tomorrow’s final.

The newspaper explains that several bonuses were included in Antony’s loan deal between the two sides in the January transfer window.

The first of these was a potential penalty if he didn’t play a certain amount of games but that has been dodged as he’s done everything possible since his arrival. Thus, Betis don’t have to pay €500,000.

The remaining bonuses are for sporting objectives. Manchester United are already due €150,000, but that could increase depending on what happens in the final.

Betis agreed that if they qualified for the Europa League via La Liga, they would have to pay extra money for the loan. This was based on the forward playing at least 50% of the games. That has been fulfilled so they will have to pay €150,000.

If they win the Conference League final, up to €365,000 will have to be paid to Manchester United thanks to another clause in the loan deal. That includes the €150,000 previously mentioned, though.

The payments are scheduled to be made before July 10th so that they can be applied to either the 2024/25 accounts or the 2025/26 accounts depending on what suits. Betis are happy to pay as it would mean they have won the final.

There was also a specific bonus for qualifying for the Champions League, but this has not been achieved so it is now all eyes on the Europa Conference League final for Manchester United instead.
