Everton must act quickly as they could potentially lose Carlos Alcaraz to another club in the upcoming transfer window.
The Toffees signed the Argentine national on loan from Flamengo in February and have an option to buy him permanently.
David Moyes is keen on retaining Alcaraz, as talks are being held between the Blues and the Brazilian side to come to an agreement.
The Merseyside outfit have a deadline to complete their deal, and Flamengo could look elsewhere to offload the 22-year-old next summer.

It’s been claimed that the Merseyside outfit could look to reduce the price for the 22-year-old midfielder, something Flamengo are trying to avoid.
Other teams are already interested in signing the Argentine national, and the Rio de Janeiro side will be free to negotiate with them if Moyes’ team don’t buy him.

Alcaraz transfer a no-brainer for The Friedkin Group
Abdoulaye Doucoure played his final game against Newcastle United for the Toffees as he’s set to leave as a free agent.
Idrissa Gueye’s contract at Goodison Park also expires in the coming weeks, leaving the Blues with the possibility of losing depth in the engine room.
James Garner has been a key player for the Merseyside outfit this season and will undoubtedly be one of their pivots in the coming years.
Alcaraz has impressed at Everton since signing in the winter transfer window, and it would make sense to complete a permanent transfer.
It feels like The Friedkin Group (TFG) are trying to save some money by trying to renegotiate the 22-year-old star’s price tag with Flamengo.
There’s a possibility that the Brazilian outfit may agree a deal with another outfit next summer if the Toffees don’t trigger their £15million buy option, which would leave the Americans with mud on their face.
The Friedkins have a no-brainer decision to sign the midfielder, and they’ll undoubtedly be taking a massive risk if they go beyond the deadline.
