Everton could potentially sign Sheffield United midfielder Gustavo Hamer for David Moyes in the upcoming transfer window.
The Toffees will arguably be confident about getting the 27-year-old star next summer after the Blades lost the play-offs final to Sunderland at Wembley on 24 May.
Abdoulaye Doucoure played his final game for Moyes against Newcastle United, with the Blues winning 1-0 at St James’ Park on 25 May.
Paris FC are interested in signing Idrissa Gueye as a free agent, and the Blues will undoubtedly have to bolster their engine room soon.

The news outlet reports (27 May) that the central midfielder is expected to leave the Blades after their loss in the play-offs final, and he was “visibly upset” after Sunderland’s comeback.

It’s been claimed that the Blues are one of the teams looking to sign the Dutch national, who won the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Season award.
The 27-year-old has two years left on his current contract at Bramall Lane, and it remains to be seen how much the Merseyside outfit will need to spend on a potential deal.

Moyes must push the Toffees to keep Carlos Alcaraz and make his signing from Flamengo permanent, but they’ll undoubtedly need to reinforce the midfield further.
The Scottish manager has done an impressive job at the Blues this season, following Sean Dyche’s departure, and has helped the team finish 13th in the Premier League.
It would make sense for The Friedkin Group (TFG) to back the 62-year-old head coach in the upcoming transfer window and build a squad competitive enough to challenge for a European spot in the league table.
Everton should sign Hamer to add depth to their midfield, and then focus on bolstering other areas of their pitch.
Ashley Young won’t be part of the Blues’ squad next season, and Michael Keane’s future is also uncertain, highlighting the need for defensive signings.
The Toffees also need a reliable number nine in the upcoming campaign, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s contract expiring and Armando Broja returning to Chelsea.
TFG have the opportunity to start a new era at the Hill Dickinson Stadium after several years of disappointment under Farhad Moshiri at Goodison Park.
Hamer’s situation next summer will be one to watch.
