Oklahoma City Thunder guard Jalen Williams was brilliant in Game 4 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In a pivotal contest on the road, the Thunder came away with a close 128-126 victory.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the NBA's Most Valuable Player award winner, proved to be exactly that. The Thunder superstar poured in 40 points.

Williams scored 34 points on 13-of-24 shooting, with Holmgren adding 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting.
The Santa Clara product had it going early, too, setting himself up for a big game.
It wasn't just a big game for Williams, however. It was a record-setting game as the Oklahoma City star knocked down six 3-pointers.

The Thunder, despite being founded in 2008, have been in the Western Conference Finals on five occasions, including their current run.
The club has had a plethora of talent roll through Oklahoma City, too. This makes Williams' feat that much more impressive.

With the play from the trio, the Thunder now has a 3-1 lead with the series heading back to Oklahoma City for Game 5, where the squad will look to punch their ticket to the NBA Finals.
The Timberwolves will have desperation behind their play, but the Thunder -- who have been a gauntlet all season -- will have their home crowd and a second NBA Finals appearance on the line.
