Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly has two contract offers on the table after sharing a cryptic post about his situation at Al Nassr.

Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly has two contract offers on the table after posting a cryptic post which went viral.

On Monday night, Ronaldo broke the internet with a post on Instagram which led many to believe he would be ending his spell with Al Nassr.

Following a 3-2 loss to Al Fateh in Al Nassr's final Saudi Pro League game of the season, Ronaldo wrote: "This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all."

Al Nassr finished third in the Saudi Pro League, 13 points behind champions Al Ittihad whilst also ending the campaign without any silverware.

Ronaldo, who found the net 35 times in 41 games in all competitions, is to due to enter free agency imminently as his Al Nassr deal ends on 30 June.

A previous report from MARCA claimed that Al Nassr had "almost sealed" a contract renewal for Ronaldo, who officially joined in January 2023 and signed a two-and-a-half year deal.

Cristiano Ronaldo has two "serious" contract offers

But an update on the situation as arrived from Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato, who says that Ronaldo is indeed on the verge of re-signing with Al Nassr.

However, that is one of two "serious" proposals for Ronaldo, who is slightly hesitant to commit after receiving an offer from another Saudi Pro League side in Al Hilal.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is well in the club's sights as they look for a big name player following on from Neymar's disappointing spell and his subsequent return to Santos.

Also backed by the Public Investment Fund like Al Nassr, Al Hilal can offer the 40-year-old a significant salary in line with what he took home with Al Nassr.

But they can also give him the opportunity to play in this summer's FIFA Club World Cup after qualifying for the revamped 32-team tournament this summer.

Al Hilal have been placed in the same group as Ronaldo's former club Real Madrid and will also come up against Red Bull Salzburg and Pachuca.

According to the journalist, Ronaldo is "reflecting" and "deeply debating between two rich and powerful clubs" - though he will have to make a swift decision.

One Al Nassr star who looks set to move on is former Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte, who is poised to terminate his contract so he can return to Europe with Marseille after they qualified for the Championship.
