Jarell Quansah is a Liverpool player who hasn’t been afforded much of a chance to prove his worth to Arne Slot this season.
Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk have been the Dutchman’s favoured options this term, with the duo forming a more than formidable partnership which helped lead Liverpool to their title win.
Quansah is still only 22 years old and has plenty of room to grow, but without regular first-team appearances, his talents are just being wasted.

Hence why it isn’t all that much of a surprise to see numerous clubs from across the world, such as Everton, interested in acquiring his services.
Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen want to sign Jarell Quansah from Liverpool
As per a fresh report from Caught Offside, it seems that Quansah is now ‘actively involved’ in potential moves from Nottingham Forest, and former Bundesliga winners, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen.
One of the main reasons behind their interest is the ‘development potential’ that the defender has, even though he hasn’t played that much this season.
The report adds that due to his lack of playing time, Quansah’s desire to leave has ‘grown’ with Liverpool looking for a fee worth around €30-35 million (£25-29.3 million) to fund new signings for Arne Slot.
Of the three aforementioned clubs, Dortmund believe that a transfer would be ‘mutually beneficial’ for both parties due to their success in developing young talents.

Liverpool must let Jarell Quansah leave in the summer
Despite the fact that Jurgen Klopp called Quansah a “top talent” last season, now feels like the right time for Liverpool to cash in on the centre-back.
The young Englishman hasn’t been given enough time to develop his skills this term, and with Joe Gomez coming back from injury, it feels unlikely that he’ll get all that many chances next season either.

Multiple clubs were interested in the defender last summer, with the Anfield outfit refusing any proposals that came forward.
Now, however, with their rivals such as Manchester City and Arsenal likely to spend big over the summer, Slot needs to find ways to fund a big summer for Liverpool so that they can stay competitive.
Only time will tell what the future holds, but with the way things seem to be headed now, there could be an awful lot of change in Merseyside over the next few months.
