Ravens TE Hints About His Future With Team

The Baltimore Ravens recently made a splash by extending Derrick Henry’s contract for two more years, but they could be far from finished with their roster moves.

Tight end Isaiah Likely is now emerging as a top candidate for the next extension as he enters the final year of his rookie deal.

Likely’s resume speaks volumes about his potential value to the organization.

He’s part of one of the NFL’s most complete tight end groups, lined up alongside star tight end Mark Andrews and fellow 2022 fourth-rounder Charlie Kolar.

Speaking on the “Up & Adams” show, Likely didn’t hesitate to share where his heart lies when questioned about his future with the team.

“The Flock knows I love them,” Likely told Kay Adams. “I love being here. I love being a Raven. I don’t think about my last year … I let my agent take care of that with the Ravens’ front office. I just try to go out there and ball.”

Likely delivered a strong performance last season, grabbing 42 passes on 58 targets for 477 yards and six touchdowns across 16 games.

His consistency continues to shine as he heads into a contract year.

Over 49 career games, he’s recorded 108 receptions for 1,261 yards and 14 touchdowns.

His postseason play adds even more value.

He’s posted 11 receptions for 176 yards and two scores in just five playoff appearances, including one start.

Likely continues to prove he’s built for big moments.

The question remains whether Baltimore will invest the money needed to keep this tight end unit together.

Both Likely and Charlie Kolar need extensions to remain on the roster past this season, but the same applies to Mark Andrews.

How much will the Ravens be willing to spend to maintain this group beyond the coming regular season?
