Footage of Alejandro Garnacho during Manchester United’s post-season tour has caused a big stir online. The 20-year-old appears increasingly likely to leave Old Trafford this summer, following a reported fallout with manager Ruben Amorim after his limited involvement in the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham.
His brother - who also acts as his agent - took a swipe on social media, while Garnacho himself aimed digs in a post-match interview with a Spanish outlet after being made to warm up longer than the minutes he was eventually given at the San Mames Stadium on May 21. Earlier this week, it was also revealed that Amorim publicly called him out during a training session at Carrington, delivering a 12-word tirade that seemingly ruled out the winger’s return for pre-season in July.
Now, Garnacho is facing criticism from fans for appearing disinterested during the club’s post-season tour of Asia. United are set to play two friendlies before officially concluding their campaign, including a fixture against the Hong Kong national team. Amorim named a 32-man squad for the 12-hour flight, with Garnacho’s inclusion among them coming as a surprise to many.

United supporters were quick to highlight how uninterested Garnacho looked during what appeared to be a press conference or media gathering of some sort. "Look at Garnacho's face", one user commented, while another added: "Garnacho doesn't want to be there." A third wrote: "Get Garnacho out," and a fourth remarked:

Should the Argentina international leave Old Trafford this summer, he will bring an end to a three-year stint at Old Trafford. In 144 appearances at the time of writing, he has scored 26 goals and produced 22 assists, having won the FA Cup and League Cup under Erik ten Hag.
