Ex-Celtic man Frank McAvennie believes Spurs will sack Ange Postecoglou

Frank McAvennie was a hero during his Celtic days and scored many important goals, namely in the club’s centenary season, over his time at the club.

The former Celtic striker is a legend down West Ham way and when asked if he can see Postecoglou still being in charge of Tottenham next season, McAvennie was in no doubt on what will happen over the summer.

McAvennie told the Let Me Be Frank Podcast [14m], “No. Listen 22 games [he’s lost]. I know there’s a lot of problems with injuries but everyone has injury problems.

“I know a lot of Tottenham fans that say, ‘Thanks very much Ange but it’s time to go now.’ because the league was disgraceful.
