Just over a month after teams made their first-round selections in the 2025 NFL Draft, all 30 first-round rookies have signed, sealed and delivered their first professional football contracts.
Cam Ward, the No. 1 overall pick selected by the Tennessee Titans, last week signed a four-year deal worth $48.7 million that is fully guaranteed. According to Spotrac, the premiere sports contract resource outlet, Ward's average annual value (AAV) comes out to $12.2 million for the upcoming season.
By comparison, Shedeur Sanders, who was projected to go early in the first round but fell to the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round, signed a four-year deal worth $4.6 million, with an annual salary of $1.16 million.
