It is that time of year with the Premier League season coming to an end, that those out of contract are having to make a decision – whether to sign new deals, or look for a new team.
It also sees those who have spent time out on loan bid farewell to their temporary clubs. Max Aarons has waved goodbye to Valencia after Leeds links, while Kalvin Phillips confirmed his return to Man City.
Jack Harrison has been confirmed as returning to Leeds this summer, after two years on loan at Everton. With the season over, there is quick change of focus towards the transfer window and Leeds are active.
The Whites are expected to make a number of signings, spending big on a handful of players while also supplementing their budget with a few loans and free transfers – like Wolves skipper Nelson Semedo.

Nelson Semedo says he has a ‘big decision’ to make this summer
The Portugal international was made captain by Vitor Pereira after the current Wolves gaffer replaced Gary O’Neil. Wolves finished in a solid mid-table position but given their squad, largely underperformed.
There will be a summer of change at Molineux with Matheus Cunha set to join Manchester United. It is also likely to spell the end for Semedo, who is out of contract in a month after five years at Wolves.
Following Wolves’ last game of the season against Brentford, Semedo posted a touching message to Wolves fans in the message, the right-back admitted he has a “big decision” to make on his future.
“We accomplished the main objective but we have to set our ambitions as a club and go fight for them cause trust me, all together we can do it. Time to rest, think and take a big decision with my family.”

Leeds United are ‘one to watch’ in possible Nelson Semedo move
Semedo is not going to be short of suitors. Well-experienced after five consecutive seasons in the Premier League following his move to Wolves from Barcelona, Semedo is still only 31 and now available on a free.
There is every chance that some Saudi Arabian clubs could show interest, or even some from La Liga ahead of a possible return to Spain. But Ben Jacobs says Leeds are ‘one to watch’ for Wolves ace Semedo.
It would be an interesting move given Leeds have Jayden Bogle on the right of the defence. Semedo can play on the left but realistically, Leeds have bigger priorities than right-back – even if he is a top player.
