Former Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey made three Pro Bowls with the franchise and was a two-time All-Pro selection.
Ramsey has not been with the Rams since 2022, but sparked trade rumors by posting a tweet on X on Tuesday. Ramsey made a post with the number 5.
The significance of that number is that it was the one he wore for the Rams from 2019-2022.
Ramsey has played for the Miami Dolphins since 2023. He made the Pro Bowl with the Dolphins in 2023 but was unable to reach the Pro Bowl last season.
The Rams already made a splash this offseason, acquiring former Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets receiver Davante Adams.

Per Spotrac, Ramsey is in the second season of a three-year contract with the Dolphins worth $72.3 million.
Ramsey gave fans a scare when he suffered a hamstring injury before the 2024 season. After missing the preseason, he recovered in time to play in the Dolphins' season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
He was a model of consistency with the Rams. From 2019-2022, he accounted for 10 interceptions, 242 total tackles and 15 tackles for loss.
He remained consistent with the Dolphins, recording five interceptions, 82 total tackles and six tackles for loss over the last two seasons.
A return to the franchise is popular among fans of the Rams. Earlier this offseason, fans took to X to make a case to bring back Ramsey.
The team lost depth in the secondary, with Tre Tomlinson being claimed off waivers by the San Francisco 49ers. Tomlinson played in 15 games during his rookie season in 2023, with 13 total tackles.
However, he suffered an undisclosed injury in 2024 that cut his year short.
