Raiders Hire Away High-Ranking Front Office Official From AFC Team

The Las Vegas Raiders have ushered in a new era during the 2025 NFL offseason. Owner Mark Davis wanted more than the four wins that head coach Antonio Pierce and general manager Tom Telesco provided, so he made a massive change.

Davis brought in Pete Carroll as the team's next coach, and highly-respected executive John Spytek as the team's next decision-maker. This offseason, between the free agency period and the 2025 NFL Draft, has been incredibly successful under the team's new leadership.

Las Vegas saved tons of money on the open market by finding cheap veterans, and they brought in a franchise-record 11 players during the draft.

An underrated part of building a winning NFL franchise, however, is how the team's front office is constructed. Spytek has taken this very seriously, adding coveted Eagles' executives like Anthony Patch and Brandon Hunt.

Spytek was not done adding talented minds to the front office, however, as on Tuesday, ESPN's Seth Walder reported that the Raiders were hiring the Jaguars' Andrew Fedele as their Manager of Football Data Science and Engineering.

Previously, Fedele was the Senior Manager of Strategic Research and Development in Jacksonville, but with a new Jaguars regime, he was easily poachable for the Silver and Black.

As the NFL and its franchises continue to embrace the analytical approach, having bright minds in the front office is a must. Spytek made another great addition in this realm by adding Fedele on Tuesday.
