Which NFL team has the most former Alabama high school players on its roster?

The Buffalo Bills are an anomaly in the NFL. Buffalo is the league’s only team that does not have a former Alabama high school player on its offseason roster.

The other 31 teams have 85, who are representing 57 Alabama high schools in the NFL.

Among Alabama high schools, Hoover has the most alumni in the NFL with five – Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey, Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Shedrick Jackson, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Jeremiah Moon, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens and Minnesota Vikings kicker Will Reichard.

Central-Phenix City, James Clemens in Madison, Oxford, Pinson Valley, Saraland and St. Paul’s Episcopal in Mobile have three alumni apiece in the NFL this offseason.

With six former Alabama high school players apiece, the Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans and Washington Commanders have the most in the NFL.

By Wednesday, every NFL team will have entered Phase 3 of its offseason program. In the portion of offseason practice formally called Organized Team Activities, or OTAs, teams are allowed to hold 7-on-7, 9-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills, although contact work remains prohibited.

By June 20, every team will have completed its offseason work, and the summer break will be underway in the NFL until training camps convene.
