BYU and UConn are set to play a game in Boston this next season, multiple sources have told me. Jon Rothstein was the first to publicly report the news and reports the game in November at the TD Garden, home of the Boston Celtics.

Talks with BYU and UConn had stalled, but recently picked up back up and both sides were able to make it work. Prior to this season, UConn had won back-to-back national titles. The Huskies are widely considered a preseason top 10 team heading into next season and should feature a top 10, and possibly even top 5, matchup this next season.
BYU has added some really solid non-conference games, and UConn will highlight the slate. AJ Dybantsa is from Brockton, MA and this game will serve as a homecoming of sorts.
Below is what we know about the non-conference schedule. I will share additional details soon on what else I know about the non-conference slate.
at Nebraska, October (exhibition)
vs UNC, October (exhibition, SLC)
vs Villanova, November 3 (Vegas)
Orlando MTE, November — two games versus Miami, Georgetown, or Dayton
vs UConn, November (Boston)
vs Clemson, December 9 (New York)
vs Delaware, November 11
vs Eastern Washington, December 22
