JUSTIN Kluivert described Antoine Semenyo as an ‘important factor’ for the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) this season as the Ghanaian scored a brace to send the club to a final-day victory over Leicester City.
Semenyo opened the scoring with a scrappy goal with 16 minutes remaining on Sunday, before smashing home a brilliant strike from outside the box two minutes from time.
That took Semenyo to 11 goals in the Premier League this season, 13 in total with two in the FA Cup.
He has been a key part of the Bournemouth attack, also notching seven assists in a record-breaking season for the Cherries.
He, like Ellie Strippel for the Cherries women’s team, scored Bournemouth’s first and last goals this season.
Semenyo equalised with four minutes to play on the final day at Nottingham Forest, as the Cherries began the campaign with a 1-1 draw at the City Ground.
His final strike was a fitting way to round off a fantastic season.
And Kluivert agreed – the Dutchman told the Daily Echo: “I'm super pleased for him because he has been an important factor for us this season and I’m delighted.
“So yeah, we really done it as a team and he finished it for us today. So lovely.”
