Manchester United may still be reeling from wrapping up their disastrous season on Sunday but they're already finding themselves back in action on Wednesday. From their humbling Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur to finishing 15th in the Premier League, it's safe to say it's been a season to forget for the Old Trafford faithful.
Yet such are the rigours of being one of the most famous clubs on the planet, the work doesn't stop. United now find themselves in Malaysia for two post-season games with Ruben Amorim’s team flying to Asia in the aftermath of their final-day victory over Aston Villa.
They’re now set to face the ASEAN All-Stars. The ASEAN All-Stars were formed in 2014 for a charity event in aid of victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, with the team representing the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
Amorim has not shied away from his torrid time with United so far. Speaking ahead of the fixture he said: "I'm excited, I'm nervous. I want to work to the next season.
"I have a clear feeling I need to close the season but now it's a new season, so I'm excited. “I don't need rest. I just need to prepare for the new season." Here we take a look at all you need to know as United take on the ASEAN All-Stars.
