Manchester United have extended the ‘season from hell’ with two postseason friendlies.
And as much as fans may dislike these postseason games, they are a necessary way to raise funds. United will raise £8 million that counts towards PSR through the two friendlies.
There are other positives too. The games offer a chance for young players to get some game time in a first team environment.
Manchester United have announced a 32-man travelling squad including a number of academy talents.
This features four young players who made their first team debuts already under Ruben Amorim: Harry Amass, Tyler Fredricson, Ayden Heaven, Chido Obi.
All four will be hoping for more opportunities to end the season on a high.
There are nine more players without a first team appearance who will be desperate to be involved. They are all listed below…
