Everton owners The Friedkin Group (TFG) have flown out of London in search of a new manager away from Goodison Park.
Dan Friedkin’s decision to appoint David Moyes at the Toffees has paid off incredibly as he’s led them to their highest Premier League finish in four years.
The Scottish manager’s tenure at the Blues has been impressive so far, but TFG may have long-term plans at the Hill Dickinson Stadium that could potentially not include him.
For now, the Merseyside outfit’s owners are focused on finding a new manager elsewhere and have left the UK to do so.

Roma linked with several new managers as Everton owners fly to Italy
TFG have flown to Italy as they look to hire a new manager at Roma after Claudio Ranieri’s retirement, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
The news outlet reports (27 May) that the Giallorossi are embroiled in a “crazy whirlwind”, with several head coaches being considered by the American owners.

Ranieri’s Serie A record this season.
It’s been claimed that the Friedkins’ travel to Pisa could suggest a potential approach for Filippo Inzaghi, with Edin Terzic linked and Daniele De Rossi’s return also mooted.
Ranieri and Moyes’ appointments at the Serie A outfit and the Toffees, respectively, show that TFG have been making the right decisions recently.

TFG should look to back Moyes at Hill Dickinson Stadium
Moyes’ return to Goodison Park has been a breath of fresh air for the Toffees after fears of relegation under Sean Dyche this season.
The ex-Burnley head coach oversaw an underwhelming start to the Blues’ 2024/25 campaign, with supporters frustrated with the style of play.
With the Scottish manager coming in, the tide at the Merseyside outfit has turned massively, with a 13th-place finish achieved in the Premier League.
TFG will have to oversee a major squad overhaul at Everton, with Ashley Young, Joao Virginia and Asmir Begovic’s exits already announced.
Jack Harrison, Jesper Lindstrom, Orel Mangala and Armado Broja’s loans to the Toffees have also expired, significantly weakening their squad depth.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Michael Keane may also be leaving soon, as there are a few weeks left on their current contracts at the Blues.
The Merseyside outfit will undoubtedly need to back Moyes in the upcoming transfer window and build a competitive squad for the upcoming campaign.
It would make sense for the Friedkins to invest heavily at Hill Dickinson Stadium next summer, and fans are evidently excited to see what the future holds.
