Everton are looking to make a real splash in the summer transfer market.
The 2024/25 campaign is now in the books and it is time for Everton to start preparing for the new season.
David Moyes has earned the luxury of adding some serious quality to the squad he inherited back in January from Sean Dyche.
Due to their PSR worries, Everton endured a quiet January transfer window as they played it extremely safe so they could enjoy a better summer.
Regardless, Moyes was able to develop the players he had at the club as Everton ended the campaign on a solid 48 points.
Everton will be financially backed by the Friedkins this summer, but they will be competing in an active market against other top Premier League sides.
Fortunately, Everton have already mapped out a number of targets to fall back on over the coming months.

Everton eye Bundesliga striker as Liam Delap alternative
Ahead of the window even opening, it is becoming apparent that Everton are all in to sign Liam Delap this summer.
However, so are some of the biggest clubs in the country which will provide the Toffees some real issues as he makes his decision this week.
According to Bild, Everton are now showing signs of interest in the VfB Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade as an alternative option.
Once again, the Toffees are not alone in their interest, with the following clubs credited in the report:
Atletico Madrid
Bayern Munich
Brighton & Hove Albion
Atletico are now said to have inquired about the German international but Stuttgart will be doing all they can to keep him at the club.
Moyes would be open to signing two new strikers this summer given the issues Everton have experienced this season in that position.
Much like with Delap, Everton are going to find it difficult if they are to come away from the summer with a player of Woltemade’s calibre.
Woltemade could be a solid Liam Delap alternative
It has been a seriously impressive 2024/25 campaign for the 23-year-old in the Bundesliga.
He has been able to put up similar numbers to what Delap managed with Ipswich Town in the Premier League.

Scouting analyst Jacek Kulig hailed Woltemade as ‘absolutely brilliant’ earlier this year as the forward impressed for both club and country.

Stuttgart have sealed a spot in the Europa League for next season and Woltemade has some Champions League sides keen.
Everton’s only hope may be if the German would be keen to make the move to the Premier League.
