The American investors are ready to hand David Moyes a substantial budget, with the hope of returning Everton to European football in the short to medium term.

Replacing Ranieiri is no easy task for the Friedkins, with the boyhood fan turned manager absolutely adored by the I Giallorossi faithful.

Gasperini has cemented himself as an Atalanta legend, having led the club to record-breaking heights over the last nine years.
He was about to enter his 10th season as head coach, but the Friedkins have come in and ripped that script up.
