Chelsea take on Real Betis in the Europa Conference League final tonight looking to end their first season under Enzo Maresca with some silverware.

The Blues secured passage to the Champions League next season with a hard-fought win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday, closing out the 2024-25 Premier League campaign with a win.

In Betis, they come up against comfortably the sternest opposition they have faced in the competition this season with Manuel Pellegrini’s side led by a rejuvenated Isco and Antony.

Chelsea have had to make do without Nicolas Jackson for their last three games of the league season as a result of the straight red card he received against Newcastle United.

Pedro Neto and Tyrique George have played through the middle in his absence but the Senegal international is expected to reclaim his spot up top on Wednesday night.

Christopher Nkunku did not return as expected at the weekend against Forest but could be back in the squad to offer additional firepower in a competition where he has scored five times in nine appearances this term.

Wesley Fofana remains sidelined while Maresca will also be without Romeo Lavia, who is not eligible having not been named in the Conference League squad.

Jadon Sancho has five assists in this competition this season, starting both legs of the quarter and semi-finals.

In what could be his final game for Chelsea with uncertainty over whether the club’s desire to keep him at Stamford Bridge, Sancho will hope to keep his place in attack alongside Noni Madueke and Cole Palmer.

Filip Jorgensen meanwhile is set to replace Robert Sanchez in goal.
