Jadon Sancho may soon learn of his fate as the Manchester United attack is coming to the end of his loan spell with Chelsea.
As part of his deal with Chelsea, the London-based side included an obligatory buy of £25 million if the club finished above 15th place.
Having finished the Premier League season in fourth place, qualifying for the Champions League next season, Chelsea have officially triggered the buy-clause, however could still get out of the transfer.
Chelsea could opt to pay a £5 million penalty to send Jadon Sancho back to Old Trafford instead of signing him permanently.

Jadon Sancho and his future with Chelsea
Since moving to Stamford Bridge last summer on a season-long loan, the 25-year-old has had a mixed bag of performances, registering four goals and ten assists in 40 games.
However, the winger has made a huge impact for Chelsea in their UEFA Conference League campaign, with a goal and five assists in seven games on their way to the final.
Tonight, Chelsea are all set to play Betis in the final with decisions on whether to make Sancho’s move permanent set to take place after the game.
Speaking in the re-match conference, as reported by Goal, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca commented: “Tomorrow, we have the final and then in the next 24 or 48 hours we will talk about the future but no decision has been made on Jadon or any other player.”
As such, Sancho is looking set to learn of his future by the end of the week. However, another issue may have arisen regarding United’s back up plan to offload the former England international.
Whilst the winger isn’t likely to play for United again, German side Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly looking to sign Sancho to replace Liverpool bound Florian Wirtz.
That said, Leverkusen’s recent appointment of Erik ten Hag could throw this into jeopardy given his public bust up with Sancho at Old Trafford.
