Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has responded positively to Galatasaray’s initial overtures, leading the Turkish side to consider a deal as possible this summer.
That’s according to Milliyet, who report that Galatasaray have ‘completely turned their course’ towards Silva and he’s responded positively to the idea.
They explain that Galatasaray are preparing to drop a big bombshell in the transfer window by adding the Portuguese midfielder to their squad.
President Dursun Özbek has given full authority to Italian agent George Gardi to negotiate on their behalf, and he has already held a meeting with the Manchester City star. It’s believed Silva will be leaving the Etihad this summer.
Milliyet say Silva intends to sit down with Manchester City to discuss his future and a roadmap for the future. But he has conveyed a message of “if the clubs come to an agreement, why not” to Galatasaray. To be clear, that is not a direct quote, just the sentiment the Turkish side have seemingly gotten from him.
Galatasaray are now waiting on Manchester City’s decision on Silva. Reports in England have stated that the midfielder is not in their plans moving forwards, in what is expected to be a summer revolution at the Etihad.
