Manchester United vs ASEAN All-Stars LIVE: Latest score and updates from friendly

Manchester United are in action in the first of two post-season games in Malaysia against ASEAN All-Stars this afternoon.

The curtains came down on a thoroughly miserable Premier League campaign on Sunday afternoon, days after Ruben Amorim’s side suffered defeat in the Europa League final against Tottenham.

But they are in Malaysia for the first time in 16 years for two games this week before the squad head off on their summer break.

Amorim has named a strong squad for the games in Kuala Lumpur with Leny Yoro and Noussair Mazraoui the only notable names missing out.

Alejandro Garnacho, at the centre of a blazing row with his manager after his post-Europa League final comments, is with the group.

Good afternoon!

Manchester United fans are already trying to put the 2024-25 campaign behind them. But before the players depart for a well-deserved (or is it undeserved?) summer break, there is the small matter of two post-season friendly matches in Malaysia this week.

Metro will be across both of them, starting with the game against ASEAN All-Stars this afternoon.
