Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has admitted the Londoners are yet to make a decision on the long-term future of Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho.
Chelsea signed Sancho on loan at the very end of last summer's transfer window, signing him for the duration of the 2024/25 season with a view to making the move permanent this summer.
The Blues, as a result of finishing higher than 14th in the Premier League this season, now have an obligation to buy the winger for a fee understood to be in the region of £25million.
However, there is understood to be a £5m break clause that Chelsea can pay to United to pull out from signing the former Borussia Dortmund man on a full-time basis.
Nevertheless, ahead of Wednesday evening's Europa Conference League final against Real Betis, who will be hoping fellow United loanee Antony can deliver them a very first European trophy, Maresca has confirmed a final decision on Sancho's future is yet to be made.
Asked if Europa Conference League final will be Sancho's last in a Chelsea shirt, Maresca said: "I don't know. I said that when in the last weeks you asked me about different players, I always said the same. And the reason why is because it's the truth.
"It's not the moment, we have tomorrow the final. Then in 24 hours, 48 hours, we're going to start to talk about the future.
"But at this moment, there is not any thought or any decision made on Jadon or any different players."
Since joining Chelsea last August, the 25-year-old has made 40 appearances, scoring four goals and racking up ten assists.
He started both legs of the Blues' Europa Conference League semi-final triumph over Djurgardens IF, meaning he will be keen to retain his place against Betis.
