Thierry Henry lauds Liverpool legend after what he did to him when playing for Arsenal

Thierry Henry is one of the Premier League’s greats and, even though he only played for Arsenal, he’s well-loved by most fans.

Since retiring from football, Henry has forged a rather successful punditry career with his best moments often coming from CBS Sports Golazo.

Of course, the Frenchman has also tried his hand in management, but with the way things have panned out, it feels like he’s safer staying in the studio rather than on the touchline.

In fact, in the latest episode of the Stick to Football Podcast, Henry admitted that Jamie Carragher often stopped him more than he got past.

“I say it to Jamie so many times, Jamie stopped me way more than I passed him,” he said.

“All you need as a nine is one [chance] because you need to believe that you’re going to make it happen.”
