Alterations could be made to Portman Road stadium in what is the latest set of upgrades at the football ground.
Ipswich Town Football Club is seeking permission to create a workshop on the south west corner of the grounds, to be used for day-to-day operations.
It would be located next to the photographers’ room and the stairwell leading to media accommodation on the second floor.

More alterations have been suggested for Portman Road stadium
In addition, the stadium’s first floor warehouse, currently housing filming facilities for TownTV, will be changed to provide two-storey office space.
The first floor would see storage space repurposed into offices, while a mezzanine would be added to create working space for its operations, safety, data and finance teams.
Planning documents said: “The above improvements will all offer a large amount of currently massively underutilised floor space within the stadium and help rationalise and collect the Club’s staff.
“Movement and access in and around this area will remain largely unchanged. Existing routes are maintained via the team stair in the North-west corner and adjacent corridors.
“The proposals submitted represent ITFC’s continued commitment to bring the stadium and its facilities in line with the requirements of a Premier League Team and their vision to utilise the stadium grounds to its fullest.”
