Juventus are seeking a new striker for the 2025-26 campaign, as Randal Kolo Muani is expected to return to PSG after a six-month loan spell, while Dusan Vlahovic will be put on the market, as he’s unwilling to sign a contract extension at the Allianz Stadium.

Gazzetta reported last week that Juventus were interested in Gyokeres, but today’s updates suggest the Bianconeri have already initiated talks with the Sweden international, going ‘beyond a simple request for information.’

What’s Gyokeres’ release clause in the 2025 summer transfer window?

Gyokeres has a €100m clause included in his contract, but according to Gazzetta, Juventus are confident that Sporting CP would lower their asking price to circa €70m.

This means Gyokeres would cost a bit less than Osimhen, and the Sweden striker would also request a lower salary than the Napoli-owned striker.

Gazzetta is among the few sources stating that Juve are still in the race for Osimhen, while other media have reported that the Nigerian has already rejected the chance to move to Turin in the summer.

If Sporting CP really agrees to sell Gyokeres for around €70m, the Old Lady would finance his move with the income from the Champions League and Vlahovic’s sale.

At the same time, however, competition for the 26-year-old is stiff, with Arsenal among the most interested clubs, and willing to make a significant investment in a centre forward this summer.
