Manchester United face a Southeast Asian all-stars team in the first match of their tour of the continent on Wednesday afternoon.
The Red Devils endured a torrid campaign under Erik ten Hag and then Ruben Amorim, although they did beat Champions League-chasing Aston Villa on the final day of the Premier League campaign on Sunday.
Amorim now takes his side to Asia for a post-season tour, but the Portuguese will also already be planning ahead for the upcoming transfer window.
With that in mind, it has emerged that the Red Devils have set their asking price for one of their forwards.
As per Fabrizio Romano, United have put a price tag of £40 million on forward Marcus Rashford.
The 27-year-old is a product of United’s academy and has played more than 420 times for the club across all competitions, but he spent the second half of the season on loan at Aston Villa.

Rashford had seemingly fallen out of favour following Amorim’s arrival, and therefore moved to Villa Park in January.
Since moving to the Midlands, the England international has scored four goals and registered six assists in 17 matches for Villa.
It appears that he may be set to depart Old Trafford permanently this summer, though, with Romano claiming that United will demand a fee of £40 million to allow the forward to leave.
In total, Rashford has scored 138 goals and registered 77 assists for the Red Devils across all competitions, but it appears increasingly likely that he will not play for the club again.
The Englishman’s current contract with United is set to expire in the summer of 2028.
