Leeds United are already pushing for new additions this summer as Daniel Farke faces a battle to keep them in the Premier League.
Top-flight experience is wanted at the Yorkshire club as they look to become the first promoted side to stay in the top-flight for three years.
Leeds have already been linked with Southampton star Mateus Fernandes as they aim to reinforce their midfield options at Elland Road.
On top of this, Gus Hamer is another option after the failure of Sheffield United, but the Peacocks face competition for his signature.

Brentford and Fulham join the race for Gus Hamer
Hamer is a Leeds target this summer after the midfielder’s sensational Championship campaign.

The Sheffield United star was unable to oversee the Blades’ promotion to the Premier League despite picking up an assist in the play-off final.
As a result, Hamer is expected to leave Bramall Lane this summer, with the Peacocks interested in bringing him to Elland Road.
However, Farke’s side may have just received a significant blow in their pursuit of the 27-year-old.
According to Graeme Bailey via EFL Analysis (28 May), both Brentford and Fulham have entered the race for the midfielder.
The two Premier League clubs are said to be “huge admirers” of Hamer and have been “watching him closely” in recent weeks.

Additional interest in Hamer is a massive blow for Leeds United
While Leeds will still believe that they can get the transfer over the line, this additional interest is a massive blow for Farke.
The difficulty for promoted teams to survive in the Premier League is immense, with no new team surviving for the last two years.
Therefore, Hamer may be more tempted to move to one of the London clubs as they are less likely to be pulled into a relegation battle and could be competing for Europe next season.
This is no doubt a warning for Leeds as they need to speed up their transfer business or they risk being caught out already.
