Manchester United look to Eberechi Eze and Adam Wharton of Crystal Palace
ESPN has reported that United are looking at the duo of Eberechi Eze and Adam Wharton, both of whom have begun to get call ups for the England national team over the last 12 months.
Crystal Palace has had a tremendous season, winning their first top tier trophy in the club’s history by lifting the FA Cup this season, with both men contributing strongly to the club’s success
Eze has had a remarkable season with The Eagles, lending himself to their attack with 14 goals and 11 assists in 43 appearances, including scoring the winning goal against Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
Taking on more of a defensive role, Wharton has been vital to holding the middle of the pitch, even helping with two assists in 27 appearances, one of which set up Eze against Arsenal.
Now United are looking at the pair as a potential set of signings this summer, however their newly found status as FA Cup victors could have an impact on Crystal Palace’s interest to sell.
