Milos Kerkez to Liverpool: Fabrizio Romano gives fresh transfer update

Liverpool are moving fast this summer, and the next man they want through the door is Milos Kerkez.

The 21-year-old left-back from Bournemouth is now at the center of growing talks between both clubs. And if reports are true, this one might just be a matter of time.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has added more fuel to the fire, saying the Hungary international is keen on the switch and has no issues with personal terms.

As Romano put it, “Kerkez has already said yes to Liverpool project, no issues on personal terms. Deal is on!”

It’s not just smoke without fire either. Kerkez recently hinted at a goodbye to Bournemouth fans on social media, after starting every game of the Premier League season.

That’s no small feat for a 21-year-old, and clearly, Liverpool are watching closely.

Why Liverpool wants to sign Milos Kerkez?

With Andy Robertson now past 30 and backup Kostas Tsimikas possibly heading for the exit, Liverpool are searching for fresh legs on the left flank. Kerkez ticks all the boxes — young, fast, and already Premier League-tested.

The fee being talked about? Around £45 million. That’s no pocket change, but in today’s market, it’s the going rate for a full-back who can run up and down the wing like it’s a treadmill set to sprint mode.

Manchester City were also sniffing around Kerkez earlier, but they’ve now turned their sights to Wolves’ Rayan Ait-Nouri. That leaves Liverpool with a clearer path to land their target.

Premier League winning head coach Arne Slot and sporting director Richard Hughes want early business done. And with good connection between Hughes and Bournemouth, there’s already trust between the two camps. That could speed things up — fast.

The window opens on June 1, and fans might not need to wait long to see Kerkez in red. A triple unveiling alongside Frimpong and Wirtz? Now that would be a proper hat-trick.
