The Pittsburgh Steelers, despite not being among the NFL’s elites during the 2024 season, have been one of the most talked-about teams in the league over the past several months.
Fans and analysts alike have been trying to figure out who the team’s starting quarterback will be in 2025, considering how much they’ve struggled at this position since Ben Roethlisberger retired.
They’re in search of a franchise quarterback, and some people expected them to pursue one in the draft.
However, the only quarterback they selected was Will Howard, a former Ohio State athlete, in the sixth round.
Howard had some flashes of greatness at the collegiate level, but because he wasn’t highly touted or taken with an early-round pick, it still leaves the door open for the Steelers to pursue another QB.
Aaron Rodgers has been tied to the team throughout the offseason, but it’s still unclear if the Steelers are pursuing him.
Former Steelers legend and current analyst Terry Bradshaw has some strong opinions about a potential Rodgers move, as he highlighted via 103.7’s “The Buzz Morning Mayhem Show.”
“That to me, is a joke. What are you going to do, bring him in for one year? Are you kidding me?” Bradshaw said.

To Bradshaw, Rodgers would be nothing but a distraction for this team, a player who has had his share of off-field issues in recent seasons.
Plus, at least when looking at the tape from last year, Rodgers doesn’t look like his MVP self, so the Steelers could be pursuing the idea of greatness, not necessarily greatness itself, which might not bode well for their offense.
