Leeds United face competition from Atletico Madrid and Juventus for Kostas Tsimikas, according to Greek outlet Sport24.
Leeds United head into the summer transfer window knowing they have several positions to address. LUFC might have won the Championship title, but a busy window lays ahead.
The Whites are under no illusions over the task ahead of them having seen all three promoted sides relegated straight back to the Championship in consecutive seasons, so they will be out to buck that trend.

Attacking midfield and goalkeeper are viewed as two priority positions at Elland Road but amid doubts over the future of Junior Firpo, another left-back is on the list too.
One man linked with Leeds United has been Liverpool ace Kostas Tsimikas, but reports from his native Greece state there could be high profile competition for his signature.
Sport24 names Atletico Madrid and Juventus as two sides keeping tabs on Tsimikas as a move away from Anfield awaits. Neither side have made their interest concrete yet but could look to battle LUFC for a deal.
Liverpool have a new left-back on their shopping list and with Andy Robertson already on the books, a fresh addition will leave Tsimikas surplus to requirements.
Work cut out for Leeds United?
Leeds United will be eager to make some statement signings in the summer transfer window but for the big names on their radar, there will almost certainly be competition.

That looks to be the case for Tsimikas, who has been a dependable back-up left-back for Liverpool over the past five years. As such, perhaps it isn’t a great surprise that the 29-year-old could make a move to another of Europe’s elite clubs.
Tsimikas is a 40-cap Greece international and has played 115 times for Liverpool since signing. He has not scored along the way but has managed 18 assists, perhaps offering a similar attacking output to out of contract LUFC favourite Firpo.
Getting the balance right
Leeds United have a tricky decision to make in managing their summer transfer window approach.

The general consensus is that promoted teams need to add some Premier League experience to their ranks and the Whites will likely to do so. Or, if not from England’s top flight, equivalent levels overseas.
However, to be progressive and forward thinking, LUFC may have to gamble on some lesser proven signings from overseas to try and make gains in the market with shrewd signings that don’t break the bank.
They can be hard deals to come by but if Leeds can have faith in their recruitment like Brighton and Brentford, it could go a long way to becoming a Premier League mainstay again.
