One Chelsea star is very likely to play his last game for them tonight. He is heavily linked with exit after the UEFA Conference League final.
The star in question here is Jadon Sancho. The 25 year old is on loan at Chelsea from Man United. The Red Devils signed him as a talented youngster from Dortmund. The player was amongst the top talents when he was in Germany. But, he failed to carry that form to Premier League.
Later, Sancho was involved in fall-out with then Uniter boss Erik Ten Hag. This saw his spend six months in United’s bench. He was then sent on loan back to Dortmund where he once again shined bright. But, United had no intention to keep him and decided to sell last summer.
However, United were unable to find a permanent solution for Sancho. As a result, they sent him away on loan at Chelsea. The Blues have an obligation to buy for £25 million this summer. But, they can also cancel the deal by paying £5 million as penalty fee.
Chelsea to send Sancho back to United?
As of now, there is high possibility of Chelsea sending Sancho back to United. The 25 year old had a good start to his career at Stamford Bridge. But, he was unable to stay consistent. As a result, he has fell down the pecking order and is no longer important star.
According to Fabrizio Romano via his youtube channel, the Blues are likely to send Sancho back. He said that it is a concrete possibility despite the Blues not yet deciding about his future. The West London club is expected to make their decision after tonight’s game.
United have no intention to keep Sancho in their squad. They will quickly try to sell him as they plan for squad rebuild. They are keen to sign 3 new attackers and are in need of raising funds. Tonight’s game will be a key chance for Sancho to impress a top club to sign him.
