Jack Harrison is ‘not a priority’ for Premier League side this summer – Leeds United stance on…

Leeds United star Jack Harrison will return to Elland Road after his loan spell with Everton. The forward is a player whose future will surely be the topic of a lot of discussions this summer.

Harrison was part of a host of departures the summer that Leeds were relegated to the Championship. It took months before he addressed his exit, and explained why he choose a move away from West Yorkshire. The 28-year old signed another loan deal with the Toffees last summer, meaning he has now spent close to two years at Goodison Park.

Everton announced the departure of their loanees this week, including Jack Harrison. The Athletic have reported that Harrison may not return to the Merseyside club anytime soon. David Moyes also addressed the summer exits from the club:

“We would like to thank all our loan players, who have contributed to the positive steps we made on the pitch,” said Moyes, via the official Everton website.

“They all embraced what it means to play for this club, and their attitude and commitment throughout their time at Everton was first class.

“We wish Jack, Jesper, Orel and Armando all the very best for the future.”

Sources at Everton strongly believe that any potential move for Harrison will not be a priority, and the club will only address the issue later this summer.

What do Leeds do with Harrison?

All signs point to the fact that the 28-year old will leave Elland Road. Relationships between the player and the club are indifferent since his move to Everton. His wages could also prove to be a problem if he sticks around next season. Leeds could offload him to create some space on the wage bill, as PSR views him as ‘profit’. It will be interesting to see what happens with Jack Harrison this summer.
