Brandon Jacobs is one of the biggest running backs in NFL history. His youngest son, Quinn Jacobs, is already just as big as his father at only 15 years old… almost!
The patriarch will soon be the smallest man in his family and that says a lot considering his size.
Brandon Jacobs, 42, played eight years in the NFL, mostly with the New York Giants. He ran for 5,094 yards and 60 touchdowns and won two Super Bowls as a fourth-round pick in 2005. There was no way to stop him when he was running downhill at 6-foot-4, 264 pounds. You either got out of his way or got run over. It always took multiple defenders to bring him down.
Believe it or not, Jacobs has already been surpassed by his eldest son by size. Brayden Jacobs recently began his college football career at Clemson. He is listed at 6-foot-7, 320 pounds.
The internet was buzzing all week about a photo of Brayden standing next to his dad. However, it is Jacobs’ youngest son who caught my eye. Quinn Jacobs will not graduate high school until 2028 but he already rivals his massive father in terms of height and weight.
Brandon likely weighs closer to 240/250 today. Quinn is right on his heels at 6-foot-3, 225 pounds and moves a lot like him.
Remember, he is only 14 or 15 years old. His late-high school growth spurt has yet to hit!
There are still three years left until Quinn Jacobs must decide where to go to school as a Class of 2028 recruit. However, the large-bodied edge rusher already has an offer from Kentucky, among others.
Athletes with a famous parent typically get extra attention because of their bloodline. They oftentimes are not as good as their last name might suggest. That is not the case here. The Jacobs family is legit.
Brayden Jacobs has already arrived. Brandon Jacobs is one of the all-time greats. Quinn Jacobs is next up!
