Manchester United fans dropped their instant reaction towards Shea Lacey after the player’s performance in Friday’s pre-season tour match against ASEAN All-Stars in Malaysia.
The Red Devils kicked off their pre-season tour in Asia only days after the end of Manchester United’s disappointing 2024-25 Premier League season.
Ruben Amorim’s men ended their campaign in 15th place in the Premier League table after United defeated 10-man Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday.
United suffered their worst Premier League finish since the league’s inception back in 1992 and the Red Devils only managed 11 league wins from 38 matches.
The Red Devils will also be without European football for the 2025-26 season at Old Trafford and United missed out on a chance of securing Champions League football.
United lost 1-0 to Tottenham at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao in the 2025 Europa League final and Spurs punched their ticket to the Champions League.
