It's been a quiet offseason for Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. He went dormant weeks after a crushing Super Bowl LIX defeat before announcing that 2025 would be his final season in the NFL.
Since then he has kept himself active with his "New Heights" podcast but not much else in the public eye. Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, have taken this offseason and downtime in their schedules to step away from the spotlight.
Unfortunately that time will be coming to an end soon with OTAs getting underway and training camp on the horizon this summer. Until then the "Swifties" and Chiefs fans alike are settling for the bits they can have at the moment.
One surprise that stirred up conversation online this week has been Kelce's new hair-do, sporting a longer and wavier look than in the past.
It's certainly an interesting change of pace for the future Hall of Famer ready to embark on his final full season journey. He will once again play a primary role in the Chiefs offense with Patrick Mahomes leading the way and Andy Reid orchestrating the offense once again.
While Kelce is not declaring his own retirement tour, he will certainly go out with plenty of opportunities in the spotlight as the Chiefs earned seven primetime games this season.
On all Sundays and both major holidays, it will not be easy to miss the Chiefs in action. Perhaps the new look will follow him onto the gridiron for all of Kansas City's marquee contests.
