Decisions are beginning to filter through on the future of some of Everton’s out-of-contract players.
Having arrived back on Merseyside in January, David Moyes landed a number of important tasks at the club.
Everton are now waving goodbye to a number of their players who will depart the club at the end of their contracts.
It is believed Seamus Coleman will remain at Everton with Moyes keen to keep the Ireland international around in some capacity.
However, the Toffees are offloading some of their most experienced players as the likes of Ashley Young depart.
Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford will not be going anywhere, but he has reacted to some of the exit news he has heard coming out of Finch Farm.

Speaking to the Everton website, Pickford has admitted other players are going to have to step up in the absence of the players leaving.
“We’re going to lose some great servants of the Club, great leaders in the team, but it’s about, like the manager said, the other lads picking it up, picking the pieces and moving on,” he said.
Everton are negotiating a deal for Carlos Alcaraz to keep him around for the move in the coming months to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Additions are going to be needed this summer for Everton to support the loss of certain players, but players like Pickford are also going to need to step up as the leaders.
Jordan Pickford proves he can be Everton’s captain
The win on the weekend was a real statement ahead of the new campaign from the Blues.
Coming into the game, Everton had 13th place guaranteed regardless of the results on Sunday, but they still pulled a massive result out of the bag.
Pickford wore the armband up on Tyneside as he led the Toffees to victory in a difficult environment.
“It’s always an honour to captain Everton,” Pickford added.
“And, you know, when Seamus is not available and Tarks isn’t, you’ve got to step up and it’s something I’m really proud of and I know I’ve always been a leader. Everyone leads in different ways.
