Violent clashes between Real Betis and Chelsea supporters have marred the build-up to the Conference League final in Wroclaw.
Local police were forced to intervene to restore order, unleashing a water cannon on supporters gathered in the Polish city’s main square on Wednesday afternoon.
The trouble broke out around five hours before kick-off at the Stadion Wroclaw.
Officers dressed in riot gear formed a barrier between the groups, with sirens heard across the town centre.

Bottles and chairs were used as missiles, while one photo showed a bloodied Chelsea fan be-ing attacked by a Betis supporter wielding a belt.
The scenes were in stark contrast with Tuesday night, when fans of the two clubs mingled across the city.
Betis fans have travelled to Poland in huge numbers for what is their first ever European final.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are seeking to cap Enzo Maresca’s first season with silverware after se-curing a return to the Champions League by beating Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The Conference League final is due to kick off at 8pm BST.
