Ally McCoist calls out Jason Cundy over Europa Conference League
West Ham have been the focus of Ally McCoist for much of the 2024/25 campaign.
The Scottish pundit has consistently talked about the London club throughout the current season, slamming the Irons over their Julen Lopetegui saga.
In comparison, McCoist had also praised Jarrod Bowen for his consistent performances throughout the campaign.
Now, McCoist has brought up West Ham once again ahead of Chelsea’s Europa Conference League final on Wednesday night.

McCoist slams Chelsea snub with West Ham admission
West Ham’s London rivals have an opportunity to win silverware on Wednesday in the Europa Conference League.
The Hammers have history in the competition, with David Moyes guiding them to the trophy in 2023.
Now, Chelsea are aiming to repeat this feat as they take on Real Betis in Poland.
However, former Blues footballer turned pundit Jason Cundy recently expressed his lacklustre attitude towards the competition, which McCoist has now slammed.
The Scotsman told talkSPORT (28 May): “I’m listening to Jason Cundy and he’s like ‘eh Conference League, you know’, I mean, how wrong is that.
“That just turns every supporter of every other team against you, as if you have a divine right to be winning.
“Have you ever seen as much joy on the fans and on families’ faces when West Ham won the cup. It was fantastic.
“To me, that’s what it is all about.”
West Ham need to prioritise cup competition over Premier League success
The 2024/25 campaign proved that it is possible to win domestic silverware if you are not a ‘big six’ club.
Both Newcastle United and Crystal Palace won trophies despite the odds being stacked against them, beating Liverpool and Manchester City at Wembley.
Now, West Ham must start prioritising cup competitions over the Premier League, as the rewards would be massive for the Hammers.
A victory in either one would guarantee European football and could help transform the London club back into a top 10 team, as they consistently were in recent years.
Hopefully, Graham Potter will shift his focus next season and bring another trophy back to the London Stadium, otherwise, he could be next biting the bullet.
