The U.S. women's national team welcomed Emily Fox to camp in style after the defender helped Arsenal to a UEFA Women's Champions League title.
Fox played the full match in Lisbon on Saturday as the Gunners upset Barcelona 1-0, clinching the European crown for the second time in club history.
The right back and Jenna Nighswonger, who didn't play in the match, became the sixth and seventh Americans to win the UWCL.
Fox, who was an ever-present for Arsenal in the club's historic run to the title, was named in the UWCL Team of the Season after the final.
After a victory parade in London on Monday, Fox joined up with her USWNT teammates in Minnesota ahead of the team's friendly against China at Allianz Field on Saturday. The U.S. will then head to St. Louis to face Jamaica on Tuesday.
Fox's teammates made sure to give Fox a hero's reception, lining up on both sides of a red carpet, waving American flags and firing off silly string as she entered the team hotel.
Not one for big words, the 26-year-old could only offer a brief but heartfelt thank you when prompted to give a speech.
